Terms of service

These are the terms that apply when you engage DEVOTOMY LTD (trading as BuiltPipeline; company number 16133061, registered in England & Wales). Where anything in your signed statement of work conflicts with these terms, the statement of work wins.

Minimum terms

Foundations and Accelerate retainers have a 6-month minimum. Dominate has a 12-month minimum because of the scarcity and founder-level involvement. After the minimum ends, the agreement rolls monthly.

Cancelling after the minimum

30 days’ notice in writing (email to hello@builtpipeline.co.uk is fine). The final month is billed as normal; we complete any work-in-progress on that month’s plan and hand over.

What you keep

  • Your website — built on your domain, your hosting account, full admin handover.
  • All content we produced on your behalf: copy, photography, edited video, landing pages.
  • Ownership of all tools, ad accounts, GBP, and social accounts we set up or optimised in your name.
  • Any data we gathered: analytics, CRM records, reporting spreadsheets.

We don’t hold websites, content, or accounts hostage. Period.

Payment and invoicing

Monthly retainer invoiced on the 1st, paid by the 7th, in GBP, via Stripe or BACS. Ad spend (Google Ads, Meta) is paid by you direct to the platform; we manage the spend on your card. Prices shown on the site are ex-VAT.

Confidentiality and data

Everything you share with us about your business is confidential. We’ll only publish case studies, screenshots, or client names with your written permission (typically captured as part of the Founding Client offer). Data handling follows our privacy notice.

Liability

We’ll do our best, honestly reported. We can’t guarantee specific enquiry numbers in a given month — SEO, ads and content all behave differently — but we commit to measurable lift by month 3. If that hasn’t happened, we have an honest conversation about adjusting or parting ways. Our liability in any given month is capped at that month’s retainer fee (ad spend excluded).

Things you agree to do

  • Give us access to what we need (Google, social, hosting) in a reasonable timeframe.
  • Turn around copy sign-offs and approvals within 5 business days, or we proceed with our best-guess draft.
  • Pay invoices on time.

Governing law

England & Wales. If anything goes sideways, we talk it out first; if we can’t resolve it, the courts of England & Wales have jurisdiction.
