Privacy notice

This notice tells you what happens to your data when you use builtpipeline.co.uk. It’s written in plain English on purpose. The controller is DEVOTOMY LTD, registered in England & Wales, company number 16133061, registered office: Suite 5391 Unit 3a, 34-35 Hatton Garden, Holborn, London EC1N 8DX.

What we collect

• Contact form data. Name, company, email, phone (optional), trade, and the message you typed. Sent over HTTPS to our email provider (Postmark) so a human on our end can read it and reply.
• Cal bookings. Name, email, and the slot you picked. Held by Cal as a processor.
• Newsletter signups. Email address sent through Postmark for signup processing and confirmation emails. You can unsubscribe in one click from any email.
• Analytics. We use Plausible, which is cookie-free, does not fingerprint, does not share data with third parties, and does not track individuals across sites. It records aggregated page views and referrers only.

What we don’t do

• No Google Analytics. No Facebook Pixel. No ad-tech cookies.
• We don’t sell, rent, or share your details with anyone.
• We don’t run advertising retargeting against visitors to this site.

Lawful basis (UK GDPR)

Contact form and Cal submissions: legitimate interests — you asked us to get in touch, we reply. Newsletter: consent — you opted in, you can opt out any time. Analytics: legitimate interests — aggregated, cookie-free, nothing that identifies you.

How long we keep things

• Enquiries that don’t convert: 24 months, then purged from our inbox and any CRM.
• Client records: while you’re a client plus 6 years (HMRC requirement for business records).
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. After unsubscribe we retain an opt-out flag so you don’t get re-added accidentally.

Cookies and PECR

We don’t set any first-party cookies that require consent under PECR. The only third-party cookies on the site come from the Cal inline scheduler on /contact, and only when you interact with it. If you don’t want scheduler cookies, use the direct phone/email contact details instead.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@builtpipeline.co.uk and we’ll action it within 30 days. If you’re not happy, you can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).

Changes

If we change this notice materially, we’ll email anyone on our list and update the “last updated” date above.
